Dip. Game Design & Development
B.Sc. Design & AI (in progress)
Exploring interactive, gamified systems through functional prototyping.
A power-assisted bed-tucking device designed to reduce physical strain on hotel housekeepers - designed to assist, not replace.
Explored compact spatial planning through Rhino floor plans and 3D modelling, using AI-assisted ideation and visualisation to bring conceptual spaces to life.
Sensor-based bird deterrence system using reflective origami structures to prevent bird intrusion in open-air canteens without harm.
3D modelling of Singapore buildings and game assets for Metascape City, alongside enemy level area design in Unity and client work for CNA and RSAF.
Contributed as a UI artist, helping design interface systems for an interactive engineering simulation project featuring 3D assets and game-based learning.
Designed an AR game concept for Ascott Group's LYF One-North, aimed at engaging younger residents. Created illustrated assets and prototyped the gamified experience.
This section covers most of the projects that I have done throughout my years in TP. It showcases most of the skills I had learnt.
I'm passionate about game development, interactive experiences, and digital design. I previously completed a Diploma in Game Design & Development, and I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Design & Artificial Intelligence. I enjoy 3D modelling in Blender, exploring different game genres, and continuously learning new creative and technical skills - especially prototyping, where I turn ideas into tangible experiences through experimentation, design, and iteration.
Currently in my third year at SUTD where I work with different industry partners to push further into interactive systems, AI-assisted design, and physical prototyping - bridging the gap between how things look and how they work into real-world applications.
This is where it all began. TP's GDD programme was my first real plunge into 3D, game engines, and the common field of infocomm technology.
About
Built for Jamsepticeye (theme: "Death is an Opportunity"), developed over roughly 24 hours with a team. Contributed to rapid game design ideation under a 3-hour concept-to-code sprint, handled all 3D modelling & Unity particle effects, and researched and implemented PSX-style shaders in Unity to achieve the retro visual aesthetic.
About
Won 1st place at GeeksHacking Hackathon. Designed the main page UI for a community platform connecting geeks with shared interests IRL. Built an interactive interest-selection system in Unity where users pick their interests to match with like-minded others, and designed the main menu interface under a 24-hour sprint - including rebuilding progress after a laptop failure mid-jam.
